ATI TV TUNER PCI CARD HOW TO
MC knows how to treat as what it is, and it works very, very well (I have not one.) My first recommendation would be for a Hauppauge HVR-2250 (Council dual combo/hybrid), because it works wonderfully in MC as a tuner NTSC/Clear-QAM of combo/hybrid. Honestly, my recommendation would be to return the tuner (if possible) and get a combo tuner or hybrid that is known to work properly. Out of curiosity, what was the 'other tuner"which has been tried before? In Media Center, I tried to automaticlly and manually select my signal and each combination, but available with no luck.īecause, for an analog tuner, Media Center requires that said tuner is an MPEG2 Encoder (or that the manufacturer creates a software encoder which emulates this.) The Theater HD 750 chip is not this, and it seems (after some looking) that ATI has not created a software encoder (side note: they are unlikely to do so, because they left the tuner market.)

Media Center recognizes the card and both tuners analog and digital, but fails the analogue listening. Using an ATI TV Wonder HD 750 PCIe and the Media Center can't find the analog signals of the conductor not to use a decoder Peter wrote at length on this subject, and you are likely to find help with your tuner here too: I suggest you read the Peter's blog about. This isn't as far as I know, for technical reasons, which is why the tuner can work in the third-party software, but not Microsoft. What is a hybrid tuner, and if so, you are trying to configure it to ATSC (digital terrestrial) or QAM (unencrypted digital cable)? Unfortunately, Windows Media Center does not support ATSC or QAM tuning to the Canada. Why not in Media Center (the best quality of image and sound)? My regional settings are set to Canada, what is happening? It works in catalyst program (terrible picture and sound) and it works in Nero Live. Now, it is said the Canada is not a region supported by this map.

Media Center worked for 2 days, buy yesterday I went to watch TV and could not find my TV tuner card. I went back into the Media Center and he accepted the Canada as a regional parameter is valid. I ran the configuration by ATI Catalyst TV program and it worked. While setting up Windows Media Center, said the card is not supported in this area (Canada). I installed the latest 01/10 ATI drivers. I installed an ATI TV Wonder 600 PCI card in Vista Home Prem 32-bit edition.
